HN2401 Anthony (Tony) Greenslade spent only six months on the SDS, as one of three Detective Inspectors in management positions during the second half of 1973. 

In his witness statement to the Inquiry he said that he ‘disagreed fundamentally with the principle of undercover policing….as it was damaging to police officers.’
