The SpycopsResearch.info database is an Undercover Research Group project. It aims to make the material released during the Undercover Policing Inquiry (UCPI) accessible for all.

This soft launch covers the early period of spying, 1968-1982 (Tranche One) and contains all documents from this period in the searchable Document Database.

Additionally, you will find detailed individual profiles of all the undercover officers deployed from 1968 to 1972 and their managers, as well as short pages on the groups they spied on up to 1982. 

A further extensive set of articles explains the jargon and procedures of the Inquiry, and a growing section analysing the tradecraft or the spycops. 

All Articles covers every page and profile we have created to date, presented as tiles. Depending on what you are interested in, you can filter down into one of the categories Spycop, Targets, Police, Inquiry or Analysis.

The articles are initially displayed in alphabetical order - however once you start searching, the closest results come up first.
