For each of the three tranches covering the Special Demonstration Squad, the Inquiry has produced Timelines and accompanying explanatory notes. These helpful documents set out in spreadsheet form when the undercovers served, who their managers were and who was in their line management up to the rank of Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police.
The explanatory notes set out matters to be mindful of and general statistics relating to the individual tranche. The Tranche 2 and 3 timelines also have a ‘raw data’ section which sets out various columns of details to each officer, including cover names and operation names, if they’ve given a witness statement along with control number (MPS-0…) , whether they are deceased or outside of England and Wales.
