Overview

The Trade Union Committee Against the Prevention of Terrorism Act (TUCAPTA) was formed in April 1976 by the International Socialists but involved other groups outside that organisation. TUCAPTA was spied on by HN296 ‘Geoff Wallace’ and a handful of intelligence reports relate to meetings about the organsing committee.

A House of Lords debate in 1977 questioned whether a meeting and fundrasing event by TUCAPTA breached the act it set out to protest against.
