Overview

The League of Socialist Action formed out of one of the many splits within Trotskyist groups in the 1970s, after a group of members of the reunified Fourth International split from the International Marxist Group, having supported the American Socialist Workers Party’s tendency within the international.

Named a target in the 1976 SDS Annual Report, the organisation features in a handful of reports. Groups of the same name existed in Canada and the United States.
