Overview

The East London Peoples Front was an anti-fascist front organisation of the Communist Party of England (Marxist-Leninist). 

Formed on 7 September 1977, the group was spied on by HN13 Desmond (Barry) Loader. Loader was arrested on one of its marches on public-order charges and appeared under his cover name in court in 1978 at Barking magistrates court, where he was acquitted.
