Fenner Brockway
Fenner Brockway, circa 1915.

The British Council for Peace in Vietnam was formed in 1965. It later became the British Campaign for Peace in Vietnam.

BCPV was connected to former Independent Labour Party politician Fenner Brockway.  It was not a primary target of SDS surveillance, but was mentioned in MI5-authored reports on subversion’.

The group was also mentioned occasionally in reporting by SDS officers between 1968 and 1973.
