HN974 Ian Blair

HN974 Ian Blair was Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police from January 2005 to February 2008, and as such was at the top of the hierarchy responsible for the Special Demonstration Squad.

He was a Commissioner when Jean Charles De Menezes was killed at Stockwell Tube Station in July 2005 and the Forest Gate Raid, in which a man was shot and wounded, took place in Jun 2006.
