HN974 Ian Blair

HN974 Ian Blair was Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police from January 2005 to February 2008, and as such was at the top of the hierarchy responsible for the Special Demonstration Squad.

He was a Commissioner when Jean Charles De Menezes was killed at Stockwell Tube Station in July 2005 and for the Forest Gate Raid in June 2006, in which a man was shot and wounded.
