HN591 Hugh Norman Annesley

Hugh Norman Annesley was born on 22 June 1939. As Assistant Commissioner from February 1987 until May 1989, he was responsible for the SDS high up in the hierarchy. Annesley left the Metropolitan Police to become Chief Constable of the Royal Ulster Constabulary in June 1989; he retired in November 1996.

He has not been called to give evidence.
