HN50 David Golding

HN50 David T Golding was Chief Superintendent S Squad for a very short period from November 1985 until January 1986, responsible for the Special Demonstration Squad in the hierarchy as such. 

He is mentioned in a Disclosure Note for the Management Hearings in summer 2026: 'HN50 Golding attended a meeting on 20 Aug 1987 to discuss Andrew Clarke and Geoffrey Sheppard’s reported intentions to manufacture incendiary devices for use on 29 Aug 1987'. [Debenhams]

Golding has submitted a witness statement to the Undercover Policing Inquiry, but has not been asked to give oral evidence at the hearings.
