HN324 was perhaps a detective chief inspector in the Special Branch in the early 1970s. 

No other information is available. In the inquiry documents, the nominal "HN324" appears twice due to typographical errors. One MI5 document repeatedly refers to 'HN324', but this appears, instead,  to be HN325 Conrad Dixon.
