Detective Sergeant HN1656 was posted to Counter Terrorism Command (SO15). He conducted the personnel review of the SDS in early October 2007, shortly before it was shut down in February 2008. It left him unimpressed with the squad.
Curiously, the three documents relating to the anonymity order of HN1656 are noted as being 'currently unavailable' on the Inquiry's official website, 'until all documents relevant to HN1656 are disclosed in the Tranche 3 hearing bundle'. They were previously available on the website, published in April 2025.
